    Today, almost everyone has a smartphone. We use it to communicate (交流) with our friends, listen to music and pay for the things we buy. Smartphones make our lives convenient (方便的).

    However, many people are too dependent (依赖的) on them: We often see people sitting together with nothing to say, just playing on their phones by themselves. We often see family members playing on their phones at home without talking to one another.

    I want to tell everyone that it is time for us to think carefully about this problem. We must stop using our phones so much. Friends need to talk face to face. Families need more communication at home. Only in this way can people get closer to each other. Let's do it together.

    I love to go biking! Two years ago I bought an exercise bike(健身脚踏车). But soon I got bored with being at home, so I bought a used bike and started going for short rides. Now I plan day trips in my neighborhood (街区).

    My favorite thing to do at weekends is to go to the beach. The beach is beautiful all through the year. I usually drive there. If the weather is cold, I wear some warm clothes and go for long walks on the beach. When the weather is hot, I enjoy swimming or just lying in the sun.
