How much do you like entertainment? How much do you like music? Over 2, 500 teenager music lovers across the country took the survey. The results show that music has become a very important part of （青少年） life. About 37.15% teenagers listen to music every day. They listen to music while they are on computers, doing housework, studying or on the way to and from school.

    What kind of music （使……感兴趣） them most in China? Many students like pop songs because they're easy to sing （随着） with. As for R&B, they can't hear the （歌词） clearly, （可是）, they still like to listen to it. They think R&B is full of 6.（活力） and it （适合） them well with their ages. The survey shows 37% of them like pop and 29% like R8&.B.But this doesn't mean teenagers dislike other kinds of music.（实际上）, they like all kinds of music, hip-hop, country, jazz, classical music and so on.

    Where do teenagers get to know the latest music? According to the survey, TV and films have the strongest（影响） on their（选择） of music. Friends also have a say. Radio comes third on the list.

    There is a new novel called The 33rd Student. It's very unusual because 32 students wrote it together.

    Students from Class 1, Grade 2 of Hangzhou Qingchun Middle School began to write the novel last October. This March, they finished their 330, 000-word story.

    It was Zhou Hui, the class's Chinese teacher that had the great idea. Some students thought writing was boring. Zhou wanted to change their minds. The class had fierce（热烈的） discussions about the storyline and main character.

    The novel is a story about Nan Yao, a student new to Class 1.Nan is a tall boy with tanned（晒黑的） skin. He is from Hebei.

    Each student was assigned（分配） one part to write. Together, there are 32 stories about Nan's life since he came to Class 1.Students tried their best while writing the story. Huang Yiying, 14, said she got up at midnight to write down the idea for her story. Chen Tianbai, 14, wrote about a birthday party. He found it hard to imagine. So he held a party for his 14th birthday, wrote down what happened and turned it into his story.

    Zhou said most students revised（修改） their stories three times." Now, none of them are afraid of writing. They have written so much themselves!"

    The novel will be printed（印刷） and each student will get a copy. "It will be a very precious（宝贵的） memory for them." said Zhou.

    Tang Ling often smoked cigarettes（香烟）in his school's washing room. He started smoking the age of 14. One day he learnt that the NBA star Yao Ming, an ambassador（大使） to the Chinese Association on Tobacco Control（中国控烟协会）, asked people not （smoke）.Yao Ming was Tang's favorite star, his words meant a lot to him. He decided to give up smoking.

    According to the Chinese Association on Tobacco Control, about 350 million Chinese smoke. Among , 50 million are teenagers. Sun Jiangping of Beijing University said, "Teenagers can get cigarettes （easy）, especially when their parents smoke or shops sell cigarettes to them. It's very important .parents to help their children stop smoking."

    A 15-year-old boy （name） Li Kun from Beijing said his parents didn't smoke. Because they thought smoking could make people feel badly ill, they only allowed him to play with friends （with） smoking. Living in such a good family helped Li say "" to cigarettes. Some of his smoking classmates once told Li that smoking made boys look cool, but Li disagreed. He said, "（smoke） is unhealthy and it's not cool at all. Please stop smoking now!"
