Mr Smith is a kind man. He often gave money to a beggar (乞丐) on his way home. One day the beggar asked him, "What's the matter, sir? Two years ago I got one hundred yuan from you. Last year you gave me five yuan every time you saw me. But this year, you only give me one yuan." Mr Smith said with a smile, "Two years ago I was single. Last year I got married (结婚) and this year I had a baby."

    The beggar said angrily, "How can you support (供养) your family with my money?"

    Mr Smith was so surprised. He just went away without saying anything to the beggar.
