Once a time, there was a very old man called Yu Gong. There were two mountains near his house.

    They were so big and high it took a long time to walk to the other side. The old man told his family that they should all help him to move the mountains. His wife thought an old man couldn't even move a small tree. And could they put all the earth and stone from the mountains? Yu Gong said they could put into the sea because it's big enough to hold everything. So they all started digging the next day. Yu Gong and his family began to move some of the earth and stone to the sea. One day, a man saw Yu Gong and his children when they on moving the mountains. He told Yu Gong that he could never do it because he was old and weak. As soon as the man finished , Yu Gong said that his family could continue the mountains after he died. His family would live and grow, but the mountains could not get . Then they kept on digging day after day and year after year. a god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent two gods to take the mountains away. This story us that you can never know what's possible unless you try to make it happen.

    Once there was a little girl living in a small, poor house on a hill. As she grew up, she began to play in her small 1. She was able to see over the garden and across the valley a wonderful house high on the hill and that house had 2 windows. Although she loved her family, she 3 about how wonderful and exciting it must be to live in that golden house all day. Then she reached the age when she could play outside of her garden fence(篱笆). She asked her mother 4 she could go for a bike ride outside the gate. Her mother thought for a while and 5 allowed her to go. The little girl rode her bike until she got to the gate of the golden house.  As she leaned (倚靠) her bike 6 the gatepost, she focused on the path that 7 to the house and then on the house itself... and was so8. All the windows were plain( 普通的) and rather dirty. She was so sad that she didn't go any further. Heartbroken, she rode her bike back. As she looked up, she saw a sight that amazed her. There 9 the valley on the other side was a little house. Its windows glittered(闪耀) with gold, as the sun shone on her little house. She 10 that she had been living in her golden house all along. Everything she dreamed of was right there in front of her eyes and in her daily life!

    When the Princess Renee heard about Broo, she came down from her castle. She found Broo while he was busy eating honey.

    "Mr. Bear," the Princess said, "you are welcome in Nahloo. Here we share with each other. We don't take things from each other.

Broo thought about it for a moment and realized that he had made a mistake. "Well," he said, "maybe drinking all that milk wasn't the best idea."

    The Princess continued, "Mr. Bear, you can drink and eat, but you won't feel good because you have never made any contributions to anyone else. I think you'll find that it is better to be full in your heart, not just in your stomach. "After saying this, the Princess' went back to the castle, leaving Broo alone.

    One day, Broo was going to take lots of cookies from the rabbits. He remembered what the Princess said to him. So Broo decided not to eat the cookies. The rabbits were surprised and said, "Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Bear. Now these cookies will taste sweeter because they are given by you, my friend. If you like, come back tomorrow and we can have the cookies together.

    Broo was filled with joy and went through the land. He gave back everything he had taken. In return, he received a promise from everyone to share their food with him. Broo was so delighted that he started dancing in the moonlight with the Princess as his partner.
