It's always interesting to watch other people show  (they) talents.

Talent shows(get) more and more popular. All these shows try to look the best singers, the most exciting magicians, the funniest singers and so on. All kinds of people join these shows. But who can play the piano best or sing the most beautifully? That's up to you to decide. People watch the show, they usually play a role in deciding the (win).

However, not everybody enjoys (watch) these shows. Some think that the lives of the performers (make) up. For example, some people say they are poor farmers, but in fact they are just actors. However, if you don't take these shows too  (serious), they are fun to watch. And one great thing about them is that they give people a way to make their dreams come true.

A long time ago, there were two talented boys, John and Joey. They showed great talents from an early age, and they did better than others around.

They grew up but they chose different ways. John used all of his talents to find a good job. He joined in many activities and visited the most important people and places. Everyone thought that he would be the most important person in the world.

But the second young man, Joey, was different. He always took a heavy responsibility(责任). He thought he should help others. He was always busy looking for ways to help others.

One day, bad things happened(发生) and they met many problems. John didn't know what to do. But Joey always tried his best to solve all kinds of problems. He

thought some good ways and didn't let the bad things affect (影响) the people in his town. From then on, he was more famous than John.

John then knew that our best talents were not only for ourselves. He learned from Joey that we should always help other people.

The world is changing quickly every day. My home town has changed a lot over the years. For example, there have been great changes in entertainment.

Nowadays, people don't have to work as hard as before. So, more and more entertainment places open, People's lives are not busy anymore because they can relax in many different ways instead of just watching TV at home. They can also go to bookstores and read there for a whole morning if they like books. Music fans can go to KTVs and sing their favourite songs. People enjoy their lives very much.

You asked me about places to go and things to do in my home town. Now let me tell you. Downtown Mall is always fun. It's the1shopping place in town. There are a lot of good stores2restaurants in Downtown Mall. For example, Trendy Clothing Store is one of them. It's a great place to shop and it has the3clothes. The shop assistants there are very4 to people. My favorite5 in. town is Nick's. It is close to my house. The hamburgers there are great. I like Dragon

City Restaurant, 6. I can eat wonderful noodles there and the beef noodles are the most delicious7all! The Big Cinema is the best cinema in town. It has the biggest screens and the most8seats. The Del Ray Complex is also a good place to watch movies. It doesn't have the newest movies, but its9 are the cheapest. Anyway, there are lots of things to do and to see in my home town.
