We didn't go to the park for a picnic the heavy rain.

I did fun on my vacation last Sunday. I went to visit my grandparents who lived in the countryside. It was far from my home, so I my bicycle there. My grandparents lived in a three-story and they also had a big farm. There were quite a fruit trees and animals on their farm. In the morning, I helped my grandparents pick some apples. I also ate some of them, and they tasted delicious. In the afternoon, I some hens and some ducks. I also saw baby . They were so cute! I felt tired, but I was very happy. In the evening, we ate and meat for dinner. My grandparents wanted me to go back there very often. I agreed with them.

Simon had a wonderful time last week. He went to Beijing with 20 other students and six teachers by bus.

They started at half past six in the morning and arrived in Beijing at about twelve o'clock. They had lunch in the hotel and had a rest for two hours there. Then they went to Beijing World Park first.

They saw many famous buildings there! Simon took many photos. After they came back to the hotel, they had a party and enjoyed some delicious food.

On the second day, they went to the Great Wall. They stayed on the Great Wall for half a day and had lunch there. In the afternoon, they visited some famous universities (大学) such as Peking University and Tsinghua University, After that, they went to the Palace Museum and the Olympic Forest Park.

On the third day, they took the bus back home in the morning. They were happy and wanted to go there again.

Many people like to travel by plane, but I don't like it because an airport is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it is often late. You can't open the windows. You can't choose the food. Planes are fast, but they still take hours to get out of the airport and into the city.

I like travelling by train. I think trains are safe. Railway stations are usually in cities. When you are late for a train, you can catch another one. You can walk around on the train and sometimes open the windows. You can see many interesting things on your way. I know it takes a little more time.

I also like cars. You can start your journey when you want to, and you don't need to get to a railway station or a bus stop. Also you can carry many things with you in a car.  But sometimes there are too many cars on the road.
