Queens County Farm Museum is a large farm in New York. On a Sunday morning, my family went on a trip to the museum.

When we got there, many lovely farm animals welcomed us. With a farmer's help, I fed a cow with grass. My mother fed some chickens and my father rode a horse. In the garden(果园), we picked some oranges and apples. They tasted really good. We had fun there. We couldn't do the same things in the city.

After lunch, we went to the corn maze(玉米迷宫). The maze is open to people each autumn(秋天). There are some clues(线索)in the maze. You can follow these clues to find the way out. It was so large that it took us about one and a half hours to get out of the maze.

My trip is over, but I am not happy. A week ago, I1there was a car show in London. You know 1 am2cars. So I really wanted to see the show. I bought tickets, booked (预订)the hotel and took3useful things. I thought I could have a(n)4trip. But I didn't.

On the first day, the plane was late5it was raining heavily. I had to wait for four hours. When I6in London, it was7. All the road lights were on. I didn't have dinner and went to bed. There was a8in my hotel in the evening. I ran out of the hotel and saw firemen working hard to put it out(熄灭). When I got back to my9, it was 3 a.m.

The next day, I slept for a day and10the car show. Oh dear! The ticket was so expensive. What bad luck!

The students of my school went to the countryside last Sunday morning. We saw many beautiful flowers and great trees there. We enjoyed the fresh air and picked some fruit there. We had lunch on a farm. The farmers cooked rice, chicken, eggs and made vegetable salad. They were delicious.

I had so much fun last weekend. The students of my school went to the museum. We went there by bus. The museum is very big. We saw many beautiful paintings there. We had lunch in a restaurant. After that, we saw some robots. They were very interesting.

The students of my school went to the zoo last Sunday morning. The zoo is not far from my school, so we went there by bike. We saw lions, tigers, monkeys, pandas and zebras in the zoo. We wanted to feed all the animals, but we could only feed the monkeys. They were cute.

I had a summer camp(夏令营) with my classmates last year.

Early in the morning, we gathered(集合) at the bus station. After saying goodbye to our parents, we got on the buses. It took us more than two hours to arrive at the campground(宿营地).

We got off the buses cheerfully, laughing and shouting. We ran all over the place. It was the first time that we had left our parents. Some of us started to feel homesick (想家). But when the night party and dances began, the homesickness was gone.

The next day, everybody rushed(冲) to the boating class. At first, my friends and I worked hara, but the boat wouldn't listen to us and kept going round and round. Then the teacher taught(教) us how to work together.

Swimming class was my favorite. It was about the hottest(最热) time of a day and the best time to stay in the cool water. The swimming teacher was a funny man, and during the class he often made us laugh happily.

During the week I learned a lot of new things and made many new friends. I also learned how to take care of myself.

Last weekend our geography teacher, Mr. Read took us to Green Town for a school trip. He wrote letters to some hotels there. In the end he chose the Ally Hotel. We had a terrible trip!

Mr. Read drove the school bus. The journey took many hours! Some of us were asleep on the way because we got up very early in the morning. We finally arrived at Green Town at 11:30 p.m. Then it started to rain heavily.    We could see the river. The water was very high. We went downstairs for breakfast. Oh, there was water everywhere in the kitchen! Then at lunch, one of the boys fell into the river. Luckily, Mr. Read was very good at swimming.

Sunday afternoon was terrible, too. Two girls didn't tell Mr. Read and went to the center of the town. They got lost. Mr. Read was very angry.

We returned to our city on Sunday evening. We were cold, wet and tired. Never again!
