    Have you been to a library lately (最近一段时间)? A library has almost all the books you need. The books tell you your favourite stories. It does not cost money to borrow a book. You need a library card. You can get a card at the front desk. The card will have your name on it.

    Libraries today not only have books. Some have movies. Some have music. You can borrow movies or CDs with your card, too.

    Most libraries have a place just for teenagers. This is the best part of the library. You can ask a librarian for help. A librarian knows where everything is. Librarians can help you find your favourite books, music and movies.

    Swimming is very popular in summer. People like swimming in summer because water makes them feel cool. If you swim in a wrong place, it may not be safe. These years, more than ten people died in this city while they were swimming in the water and most of them were students. But some people are still not careful in swimming. They often think they swim so well that nothing bad can happen to them in the water.

    Summer is here again. If you go swimming, don't forget that better swimmers have died in the water. They died because they were not careful. So don't get into the water when you are alone.  If there is a "No Swimming" sign, don't get into the water, either. If you remember all these, swimming will be safer.

    People enjoy1with kites. There are kite festivals and competitions (比赛) in China, Japan and many other countries. But kites are not just for playing. They are used in many other ways, too.     Everyone knows that trees are very important to us. F of all, trees do good to our health. They give out oxygen(氧气). We can't live without trees. Secondly, trees can m the world more beautiful. Trees are so important to us that we must p more trees. And we must d our best to look a them and we can't destroy (破坏) them.
