Here are two signs to watch out for you to
know whether your child is having trouble in school.
⒈Your child
works hard but doesn't do well. If your child spends hours on study each night,
but still gets low grades, this could be a sign of a learning problem.
Try sitting down with your child and see
what he or she is working on. If you can't find out the real reason, talk to
the teacher.
⒉Your child
is not interested in homework. Children often don't like homework. As a parent,
you need to tell him or her the importance(重要性) of it.
You can make a timetable and get him or her
to do the homework first. However, don't be too forceful(强迫的), or your child may refuse(拒绝) to do it at
all. If your child is still not interested in it, you might ask experts(专家，行家) for advice.
Don't give your child too much work to do.
Playtime and sleep give his or her body a rest and allow it to prepare for the
next school day.
