    Waste can be seen everywhere in the school. Some students ask for more food than they can eat and others often forget to 1the lights when they leave the classroom. They say they can afford these things. But I don't agree2  them.

    Waste can bring a lot of problems. Although China is rich in some resources, we are short of others, for example, fresh water. It is reported that we will have no coal or 3 to use in 100 years. So if we go on wasting our resources, what can we use in the future and where can we move? Think about it. 1 think we should say   4to the students who waste things every day. Everybody should stop 5 as soon as possible.

    In our everyday life, we can do many things to prevent waste from happening, for example, turn off the water taps when we finish washing, turn off/he lights when we leave the classroom, try not to order 6 food than we need, and so on. Little by little, everything will be changed. Waste can be stopped one day, if we do our 7 .

    There is a sign at a Korean university asking tourists not to step into the grass to take photos. The sign is not  in Korean or English; it is written in Chinese.

    These signs, and signs in other countries warning Chinese tourists about their behaviour, have shamed many Chinese who worry  the image of the country.

    Over 70 million Chinese tourists made overseas trips last year and spent $102 billion, more than the $ 84 billion spent by American and German tourists. For many Chinese tourists, it was their trip abroad and they didn't know about foreign ways. And some of these tourists took their bad habits from China with .

Silly signs

    My little brother and I went to a safari park last year. A safari park is like a zoo, but the animals are not in cages. They can walk anywhere inside the park. There are monkeys, deer, giraffes, elephants and many other animals.  Our parents drove us through the park in the car. Some of the animals came very near. My parents said, you mustn't get out of the car. I took lots of pictures. It was great.

    At the entrance, there was a funny sign. It was funny because there was a mis take on it. The sign said, elephant Please Stay in Your Car! My little brother said. But elephants don't drive cars! I said. It means elephants can be dangerous, so we must stay in our car.  Can you correct the mistake in the sign?

    I saw another funny sign outside the restaurant. The sign said, open seven days a week and weekends. I'm sure you can correct that one.

   Then last week, I saw a funny sign in a shop window. In the shop, I could see pictures of famous places, like Paris, Rome, Athens, Dubai, Cairo and New York. The shop sells holidays to these places. There was a big sign in the window. The sign said, "go away!"

    I think the sign means go away on holiday, but it's not polite if you just say "go away!"
