Hong Kong has about forty public. Some of the beaches are among the best in the world. People can go there for a swim. You can go by bus. To go to some beaches you must take a boat. There are toilets，changing rooms and places to buy food and drink on most of the beaches.

    You will swim theredanger if you remember these instructions: 1) Never swim alone. 2) Never swim after a meal or when you feel hungry or tired. 3)  Don't stay in the water too long. 4) Nevera boat if you can not swim. Remember: A red flagthat it is dangerous for anybody to go into the water. A blue flag means that it is dangerous for children.

    I'm Jim. I live in Washington. Let me introduce my neighbourhood to you.

    There are three shopping cin my neighbourhood, so it's easy for me to buy what I need. But my mother thinks they're too noisy. Wdoesn't the government move two of them away? Maybe one is enough.

    My fplace is the park. There is a pond(池塘) in the park. There is fish in the pond. Most of them are black and red. I like to fish there when I'm free. When I ca fish, I can take it home. The fish is cheap. It's only $ 1 for each.

    There is a bookshop in my, neighbourhood. All the books are new. Some of tare very useful for us. So I also go there and read books in it. The clerks put the books for the students in the middle. So I can find them e.

    I think the government should build a library in my neighbourhood. Then I can read many kinds of books. And I don't have to pay any money. Then the students can read more and more books. I think the library should have DVDs. I want to see exciting films in my free time.

    Houses are one of the most important parts in our life. What kind of houses do you like to live in? Different people have different ideas.

    Old people like living in a quiet place. Usually they prefer living in the countryside. There isn't much traffic. And there are a lot of plants. The air is very fresh.  The house isn't too nice, but it is enough for living. If the house can be cheaper, it will be better.

    Most young people like living in the city. They like the lively place. They think living in the city make it easier to go everywhere because there is a lot of traffic. Their houses are very big and fine. Even the house costs them a lot of money, they will prefer the good house.

    For middle-ages(中年人), it is better to live near the place where they work and the children study. The nearer, the better. Usually the middle ages are very tired. They must take care of their parents and their children. So their house is big enough. But it isn't expensive.' And it isn't too fine. They only spend some money on the house.

    In our country, every school has a library. I'm sure you have read many books. You borrow them from the school library and keep them for1. Maybe you also borrow books from other libraries, or you get books from your parents or friends as presents. If you like reading and want2, you may often go to bookshops and buy some yourself.

    Have you3thought of how people make a book? Different people must check it several times4it comes out. After someone finishes reading a book, the book passes through the hands of many other people. Everyone in the factory has to work very carefully because5must not be any mistake in it. Many people are busy6it. They print it on good paper and put the pieces together before it goes to the bookshop.
