Dear Sam,

    I am now writing to you in a beautiful hotel in Hainan Island. The weather here is very nice. Although it is winter now, the air is fresh(新鲜的) and the sky is clear(晴朗的) and blue. The days are warm and sunny. I just wear a T shirt in the daytime(白天), but the nights are cool and humid(湿润的). It is a beautiful place in China. I stay at a hotel on the coast(海岸). There is a beautiful swimming pool in our hotel. I like Chinese food. It is delicious. My room and meals cost ¥200 a day.

    Every day after a big breakfast, I spend the morning on the beach. Then I go sightseeing(观光), such as Yalong Bay, Luhuitou, Tianyahaijiao and so on. After that, I usually sleep for a few hours. Then I read by the pool and have a cool drink as well.

    I will come here again next winter. Do you want to come with me?

    More people all over the world get to know Shanghai after the EXPO, The Smiths are Canadian . They are visiting Shanghai.  It's their first visit to China. They're staying in China for about 2 months. They want to visit some other big cities and . They hope to learn some Chinese, too.

    Mr Smith is a taxi driver. He likes to in Shanghai. Mrs Smith is a school teacher. She will visit a city school and a village school next week. Their daughter is a middle school student. She is going to meet some Chinese students.

    They are  a lot of photos in China. When they get back to Canada, they are going to show them to their friends. They want Canadian people to know more about China.
