    It is Sunday today. Ann is shopping with her mother. She wants her mother to buy a new sweater(毛衣) for her. In a clothing shop, she finds an orange one. She tries it on(试穿). So they go out of the shop and go into another one.

    The second shop is bigger than the first one, and in it there are many kinds of sweaters of different sizes and colours. Ann tries on an orange one. It is too big. She tries a smaller one. It is OK.

    How much is it? Ann's mother asks the woman who sells the clothes. Then they find it too dear, and they don't have so much money with them.

    1 April 30, Public School in Queens, New York, became one of the first schools in the nation to bate an all-vegetarian(素食) menu. It has served foods 2 tofu wraps(豆腐包)and vegetables since going all veggie earlier this year.

    Public school has just over 400 students in pre-kindergarten(学前) through the third grade. The school, which wanted to offer the children3food choices, started serving a vegetarian lunch three times a week. Later in the year, they make it to4times a week before making an all vegetarian menu every day.

    "We discovered that our kids were 5in our vegetarian food," the headmaster Robert Groff said. "And we will give more kinds of vegetables to kids."

      The school hoped that children's 6and energy(精力) will get. 7 healthier in the future.
