A traveller came out of the airport. There were many taxis. She looked around carefully and asked every 1 name. After that she took one of them. It2five dollars to go from the airport to the hotel. Then the traveller asked the driver to show her around the city for a whole day. For the service, the driver wanted 100 dollars. It was very 3, but the traveller said nothing and agreed. The driver took the woman everywhere 4.In the evening they went back to the hotel. The traveller gave 100 dollars to the driver and asked the driver 5another day's driving. It was another 100 dollars. The driver was very pleased.

    The next day they went to the same places again. In the evening the driver got the money, but he6 a little guilty(内疚的), because 100 dollars a day was a lot of money.

    "So you are going home tomorrow. Where are you front?" said the driver.

    "I come from New York," answered the traveller.

    "New York?" said the driver, "l have a sister in New" York too. Her name is Susan. Do you know7?"

    "She asked me to give you 200 dollars!" said the traveller.

    George is a young man. He doesn't have a wife, b he has a very big dog, and he has a very small car, too. He likes pbasketball when he is free. One day he plays basketball for an h at his club, and then he runs out to a car. His dog comes after him, but it does not jump to the same car. It jumps to the n car.

    "Come here, silly dog!" George shouts at it, but the dog stays at the other car.

    George puts his k into the lock of the car, but the key does not turn. Then he looks at the dog a. It is at the right one. "It's sitting and looking at me," George says a . But then he smiles and gets into his car with the dog.

Dear Mother and Father,

    Here I am at camp(野营基地). My friends and I travel a long way today. Early in the morning, we start from our school. At first, everything is going on well. We are all happy. But then the bus driver gets lost. She goes to the wrong camp. The camp is for boys. At 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we get to our own camp. We have a short rest. Then we begin to set up our tents (帐篷). Guess what happens next! After supper I can find 200 frogs(青蛙) sitting in my tent. They won't leave. There are many green trees and colourful flowers here. There are many birds, too. The air is nice and clean. We all like to stay here. Camp is fun. Wish you were here. At night, we will go to sleeping bags(睡袋). Please don't worry about me.

    People often talk about how to be healthy. I think the mostthing is a healthy diet. If we want to be strong, we must have enough food which has been well cooked. It must be clean food. It must be the right kind of food. We know when we  hungry, we need food. Then if we eat some rice, we do not feel hungry.

    Bread is good for us. It keeps us warm when the weather is cold. But if we do not eat other food, we will fee/ ill. Meat, fish, milk and are all very good for us. They help us to grow. They keep us healthy. We must have some of these kinds of food every day. We also need fruit and vegetables. They also us to grow and to be healthy.

    Everyone knows that Americans like eating hamburgers. The place to buy a hamburger is a fast food restaurant. In these restaurants, people ask their food, wait just a few minutes. When the food is ready, they take it to their tables themselves. They can eat it in the restaurant or take the food out in a box and eat it at home, , or in a park. At some restaurants people can drive up a window. They ask for the food and a worker hands it to them through the window. Then they drive off and eat in their cars.
