    Mr Irvine was a very busy lawyer(律师). He always worked all day. he could not have a rest on Sundays, so he usually forgot the date.

    Last Saturday, he remembered(记起) it was his wife's birthday. "I often forget her birthday," be said to himself, "but not this. "Then he went to a flower shop and bought some beautiful flowers on his way home. When Mr Irvinehome, he gave the flowers to Mrs Irvine and said, "Happy birthday! March 10th is your birthday. I don't forget it this time. "

     my birthday was yesterday. It's March 10th today. Anyway thank you all the same," said Mrs Irvine.

     My grandfather worked as a doctor for many years. He lived in Toronto, Canada. He was kind. At any time of the day or night, he would like to go and help. Everyone in the neighbourhood loved him and people always went to him when there was something wrongthem.

    My grandpa didn't remember things well when he got old. This made him do wrong things sometimes, When people this, they thought he would give them the wrong medicine. So they no longer went to him.

    My grandpa often asked my parents and me why people didn't come to him then. To make him , we said to him, "You make all the unhealthy people healthy in Toronto now."

Rules in the reading room

    Hello, everyone. Welcome to the school reading room. We hope you have a good time here. Before you go into the reading room, there are some rules you need to keep.

⒈ The reading room is open from 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. from Monday to Friday.

⒉ Don't take your bag into the reading room.

⒊ Don't talk loudly in the reading room.

⒋ Don't take any food or drink into the reading room.

⒌ Take only one book at a time. After you finish reading the book, you must put it back and then you can take another one. Don't take many books to your seat.

⒍ Before you leave, you must return the book to the bookshelf. You can't take any book out of the reading room.
