    I have got a good friend Betty. She's an Australian girl. She  in Sydney with her parents and her little brother. Her father works in a museum. Her mother teaches English in a . Her little brother Jimmy is only four. He doesn't go to school.

    Betty is a very  girl. She likes swimming and playing ball games. From Monday to Friday she is at school and her parents are at work. But Jimmy often plays  his dog Bobby. After supper her father watches football games on TV. Her mother does  reading and Betty does her homework.

    My parents often take me to the zoo at weekends. I like animals. I have many toy animals in my room. In the zoo I can see tigers, elephants, pandas and many other animals. Some animals are friendly, but some are not. Tigers, lions and snakes are dangerous. That is why they have to be in the cage. But I think it is terrible for animals to be in the cage.

    Tigers usually live in forests and mountains. They can run. They catch and eat small animals, but now they live in small rooms. They can only walk and sleep in the cages, and they want to go out. I feel sorry for them.

    I think my favourite animals are dolphins. I like watching them swim and jump. They can play with a ball. They can "walk" on the water! They are very friendly to people. They can help you when you fall into water and can't swim.

    Thank you for inviting me to London. But I'm very 1 this month. So I can't go there to see you.

    On the 2nd, we have a basketball game in the afternoon. I like 2, so I want to watch it. My father's fortieth birthday is on the 9th. Mother and I want to have a birthday party for him. We want to buy some drinks and 3 for the party on the 7th. The school trip is on the 15th. My classmates and I want to go to a farm. I'm sure we can 4 there. We have an English test on the 18th. My English isn't good, so the test isn't 5 for me. I must prepare(准备) for it. On the 22nd, we have an art festival. This is a really busy 6.
