There was a forest on a mountain. Many kinds of animals lived there. One day, two baby deer played happily around. Their mother followed them into a cave. The mother deer was1because it was a tiger's cave with bones of dead animals all over. Thankfully the tiger was not inside the cave at the time.

    The deer was trying to lead her children out when she saw a tiger at a distance coming back. It was dangerous to go out now. She thought of a plan. The tiger had come closer to the cave. The deer raised her voice and shouted, "My dear children, don't cry. I shall capture a tiger for you to.2 You can have a good dinner."

    The tiger heard these words and thought," A3animal is waiting inside to capture me. I shall run away to escape death."

    A fox saw the tiger and asked, "Why are you running?"

    The tiger said, "My friend, a powerful animal is in my4.The young ones are crying for a5to eat. The mother is promising to capture one for them. So, I am running away."

    "Don't be afraid. No animal is6than you. You're the king of the forest. Lets go together to find out."

    "I don't want to take a chance. You may run away, and I will be left alone to die."

    The fox said, "Trust me. Let's tie our tails together. Then I won't be able to7you." The tiger finally agreed.

    The deer saw the tiger returning with the fox. She again shouted, "Children, I requested my friend to capture a tiger for us. Look! The fox has caught a tiger. He has8the tiger's tail to his to prevent the tiger from escaping. We will soon have the tiger for our dinner."

    Hearing this, the tiger was sure the fox had lied to him. So the tiger decided to escape. He9forgot about the fox. In the escape the fox was caught between two rocks. The tiger pulled with all his energy, and his10got cut. The fox was killed. The tailless tiger ran away to another part of the forest. The deer and her young ones safely left the tiger's cave.

    Why do we like drinking water from plastic bottles? Some people think it is healthy and clean. Others drink bottled water because it's easy--you can carry it around with you. In hot countries, like Greece, we often buy bottles of cold water in the summer.

    However, making lots of plastic is not a Rood idea for many reasons. First of all, we need a lot of oil {or plastic products. We usually use oil as a resource of energy. If we reduced the number of bottles we made, we wouldn't need so much oil. Plastic bottles also pollute the environment. If we recycled all our plastic bottles, we wouldn't need so much space for rubbish dumps. But in Greece, we don't recycle much of the plastic we use. In 2006, Greeks recycled only about 10% of plastic waste. The rest became rubbish on land and in rivers and seas.

    So next time you want to throw away a plastic bottle in the litter bin, stop and think. If you recycled it, you would help the environment. But what can you do when there isn't a recycling bin near you? Well, there are lots of useful ways that you can use your bottles again.  For example, an empty bottle makes a great piggy bank for your pocket money, and if you cut in half, you will have a plant pot. Go green! You can make a difference.
