Major causes of traffic accidents

    Nowadays, there are many traffic accident reports from newspapers

TV news and so on.

    The harder we try, the happier our life will be!

    A poor man worked for a rich man. The rich man made the poor man work all day, but didn't give him enough food. So the poor man often felt hungry.

    One day, when the poor man was having breakfast, the rich man came in and said to the poor man, "It's very troublesome to come back for the other meals. So I want you to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner together now before you go to the fields. ""How can I eat three meals at breakfast time?" the poor man thought but he said, "All right. He finished his meals and went out. Two hours later, the rich man went out for a walk, he saw the poor man sleeping under a tree. He was very angry and said, "Why don't you work in the fields?" The poor man sat up and said with a smile," I've already had my dinner and you know very well that after dinner it is time to go to sleep."

    Hemingway is one of the most famous writers and reporters in the  (twenty) century(世纪)in the world. He was born on July 21, 1899 and  (die) on July 2, 1961.

    When he was a small child, his mother taught him and her other children music and creativity(创造力)by (take)them to concerts, museums and theatres. And his father taught them to love nature and how  (cook)in the open air and other life skills.

    In 1917, Hemingway finished high school and then worked as reporter. During World War I(第一次世界大战), he went to France, Italy and Spain. He fought in World War I and then moved  Cuba Later, Cuba drove him out of the country. He had to go back to Idaho, the USA. There he had many health problems. And in 1961 he killed  (him) with a gun(#t)in his own house.

    In his amazing life, Hemingway wrote lots  famous works. Most of them are still popular now. The Old Man and the Sea helped him  (win) the Pulitzer Prizes(普利策奖) in 1953 and the Nobel Prize In Literature in 1954. His other famous (work) include The Sun Also Rises(《太阳照常升起》), A Farewell to Arms(《永别了，武器》) and so on.

    Mr White is a millionaire(百万富翁).He 1 delicious food. He has a 2 cook, Mr Black. The man can cook all kinds of food. Mrs White asked him to3her last month. Now she thinks she's good at cooking and doesn't want Mr Black to 4 for them any longer.

    A rich man was riding along the road and saw an old man digging in his garden. There was a young tree lying on the ground. The rich man asked the old man, "What kind of tree are you planting there, my good man?

    "This is a fig(无花果)tree, sir," he said.

    "A fig tree?" the rich man was very surprised." How old are you, may I ask?"

    "I am ninety years old."

    "What!" shouted the rich man." You're ninety years old. You are planting a very young tree now and it'll take years to give fruit. You certainly don't hope to live long enough to get any fruit from this tree." The old man smiled and said, Tell me, sir, did you eat figs when you were a boy?" "Sure," the man did not know why he asked this question.

    The old man asked, "Who planted the fig trees?"

    "I don't know."

    " You see, sir," the old man said slowly," our forefathers(祖先) planted trees for us to enjoy and I am doing the same for the people after me."

    The rich man was quiet. Then he said, "You are right, my good man. We should do some things for the people after us. Thank you very much." Then he rode away.

    Once there was a piece of white and new paper. Children loved playing with it. But one day the paper found itself old and dirty. It was sad.

    Before it knew what was going on, it found itself lying in the dustbin(垃圾箱). It was sad when the worker came and put it into a truck with some other old paper.

    It travelled from day to night, from wind to rain. At last someone put it into a machine with other paper. It quickly got sorted(分类). This was the end! There was so many things it wanted to do, for example, be a book for children. But this was the end. The paper tried to run with other paper, but it failed. In the end, the paper closed its eyes. After some time, it woke up. The paper found it was quiet. The paper looked around and realized it was sitting next to some fresh paper. It looked down at itself. It was clean with a very new white coat.

Green tea is a best choice for office workers

    People who always work in places with air conditioners may face skin problems such as easily dry skin. Among all the drinks, green tea is a best choice because there are special things in green tea. Moreover, drinking some green tea can prevent computer radiation(辐射).

    Winter is the season to drink black tea

    Chinese medicine believes that different people should drink different tea based on the different characteristics and tastes of each kind of tea. Black tea can warm the stomach and quicken digestion(消化). Therefore, drinking warm black tea in the cold winter is a most suitable choice.

    Do not drink strong tea

    Strong tea may make the body far too excited and can badly affect the cardiovascular(心血管的) system as well as the nervous system. For a person who has problems with these parts, drinking overly strong tea may cause heart and blood pressure illnesses, or even make the old illnesses much worse.

    Do not drink too much tea when you are eating

    Drinking too much tea or strong tea may not be good for taking in constant elements and trace elements(常量元素和微量元素).Also, people should not drink tea with milk or other milky food.
