Many people may like taking photos of them by themselves. A girl named Helene Meldahl from Norway(挪威) also likes taking photos of her by herself. However(然而), her photos are so different.

    Before she takes photos, she always draws some interesting pictures on the mirror(镜子) in her bathroom. And it usually takes her about half an hour to finish every picture. Sometimes, she draws her favourite cartoon characters, like Garfield (加菲猫). Sometimes, she draws some lovely animals. Also, there are many other pictures. Then she takes photos with these pictures.

    At first, she just left messages(信息) for her roommates(室友) on the mirror with the lipstick(口红). One day when she did the same thing, she got the idea of drawing some pictures on the mirror and taking photos with them.

     Waste can bring a lot of problems. Although China is rich in some resources, we are short of others, 4 , fresh water. I think we should say no to the 8 who waste things every day. Everybody should stop wasting as soon as possible.

    In our9 lives, we can do many things to prevent waste from happening, such as turning off the water taps when we finish washing, turning off the lights when we leave the classroom or trying not to order more food than we need.     You probably know a typhoon is a large and powerful storm that can cause a lot of rain and wind. Everyone pays attention to typhoons because they can be dangerous. Some typhoons come and go and really don't cause much more trouble than a bad thunderstorm. Others may damage homes and cause some floods that go away on their own.

    Typhoons are always a concern, especially for people who live near the coast. When a typhoon is on the way, weather forecasters can say which areas will be affected. Maybe you've heard people call a typhoon a "natural disaster", but what does that mean? A natural disaster is something that happens in nature and causes big problems, like a typhoon, a tornado(龙卷), an earthquake, or a tsunami. But wherever you live, it's important to remember that there are lots of people looking out for you. In a bad storm or other crisis, this would include not only mums and dads, but also police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and other people who are trained to handle emergencies.

    Napoga is a girl in Ghana, Africa. It is hard for her family to get clean water. Every morning, she leaves home at half past five to get clean water for her family in a village far away. It takes her six hours to get enough clean water for daily cooking and drinking. She has no time to go to school or to play with her friends. Millions of people in the world are like Napoga. They can't get enough clean water to keep healthy.

    Earth Day is on April 22. But on all the other days, we must also remember it. The water we use is the most important natural resource on the Earth. Water covers about 75% of the Earth's surface. But most of that is sea water. We can't use it for many things. Fresh water covers only less than 1% of the Earth's surface.

    You probably feel lucky that your life isn't as hard as Napoga's. But that doesn't mean you don't have to worry about water. We all face serious water problems. One of them is water pollution Lots of kinds of things from cars, factories, farms and homes make our rivers, lakes and seas dirty. Polluted water is very bad for people to drink. And dirty water is bad for fish too. Now, 34% of all kinds of fishes are dying out. Scientists say that in 30 years, more than half of the people in the world won't have enough clean water. We have to learn how to save more water for ourselves and our children.
