Hawaii has always been a magic name to people who like traveling. People from all over the world dream of seeing the beautiful islands in the middle of the ocean.     Yuan Long ping is a great scientist of China. Yuan was born September 7, 1930. At the time of wars, he (move) with his family and attended schools in many places during his childhood and youth. In 1953 he graduated from the Southwest Agriculture Institute. that he began his teaching career at an agriculture school in Hunan Province. Yuan started working on hybrid rice in the 1970s. His (succeed) in hybrid rice has (feed) millions of people. His influence on the (develop) of Chinese agriculture is great that he is often called The Father of Hybrid Rice".

    Now he is 87  old, but devotion to rice research never comes to an end. He hopes hybrid rice will grow as (tall) as Chinese sorghum (高粱) one day!
