There are many TV programs on Chinese cuisines(烹饪)now.  A Bite of China(舌尖上的中国)is a new program and it's very popular．The CCTV Channel One show began to play on May 14th，2012．It was held by the award-winning documentary maker Chen Xiaoqing．The program tries to bring something new by presenting more cultural elements related to dishes，such as eating habits and the ethics(道德)of eating．It also offers insights into the geographical，historical and cultural dimensions of what Chinese eat．It can teach us how to make the food．So the program is sure to attract both food buffs and ordinary audiences．

    A Bite of China has seven episodes(片段)．Each episode lasts 50 minutes．Themes range from ingredients to preserved food．

    Food is always connected with people．To get enough good stories，the  production team spent three months doing research and interviews in about 60 cities before they started shooting．Filming lasted about nine months．

    A Bite of China captures social changes while presenting food cultures，such as，many families leave old people in their hometowns while other members work outside，the food of their hometown can remind them of happy times．

     Chen says the seven episodes might not be enough to capture the glory of Chinese food culture．

       I still remember visiting Moscow. It is the capital of Russia, the b country in the world. I went there wmy parents when I was eight years old. I lived and studied there for one year, I had some happy memories.

       One of the most interesting things of that city was that t were many dogs. Perhaps Russians  ldogs very much. You can see dogs here and there. Almost each of the families had a dog. I made friends with many Russian children   wI was living and studying there. They were all very nice. They had fair hair and fair skin. I played with them h though I could only speak a little Russian at first. They were f to me. The weather in Moscow was very cold. It snowed almost every in winter. The ground was always c with a lot of snow. We often made stogether.

       Now I am  b in China, but I miss them so much. I will never forget my happy memories of this visit to Moscow.

      David got a job in a police station after he left school. He worked there for 42 years and he"ll retire this year. He worked hard in the past 42 years. But he was not a lucky man. He failed to catch a thief. He was often sorry for it.
     Last weekend, while David"s wife was cooking she found there was no salt at home. So she asked her husband to buy some. In the shop, David saw a young man taking away a wallet from a woman"s bag. He walked to him quietly, but the young man noticed David and ran away at once. David ran after him. At last the thief ran into a blind alley (死胡同) and David caught him.
