Tears went out of my eyes when I talked to my mum on the phone.

      It was 7:30 in the evening, she still (work) in the fields. These are my parents. They are always working hard. My father works from seven in the morning to nine in the evening. And my mum is much busier than him because all the housework (leave) to her. Besides, she also (look) after the vineyard(葡萄园).

      Every day she (get) up early at 4:00 in the morning, and keeps on working till evening. One day I (call) her at eight in the evening. She said, “I’ve just got home from the vineyard and (not have) supper yet. I (wash) the clothes now.”

        Although they are busy and tired, they forget it as soon as I appear. For them, the happiest time is to be with me. Once my mum saw me (walk) towards home, she cried happily. Whenever I go back home, she always runs into the kitchen (cook) something delicious for me.

       Dear mum and dad, I am your hope. I’ll take more exercise to keep healthy. I ( study) harder to be excellent at school.

Love, sometimes, doesn’t need many words. Love your parents as they love you. Give them a call and tell them you miss them.

When You're Stuck at Home

     Maybe you can't go out because the weather is 1 or too cold. But that doesn't mean you can't get some2 while you're inside.

      Turn on your favorite 3 and dance. Invite your dog or cat to join in the4. Or catch a hula hoop and make up some hula-hoop dances. 5 there is enough room, you can jump rope and count how many 6 you jump without missing.

      There are basketball hoops with over-the-door hooks and 7 made from soft foam(泡沫) that are meant to be played with indoors. If you have them and 8 enough room, set them up and shoot some hoops. Have a 9 with everyone in the house — may the best basketball player win!

      More things to do when you're stuck at home:

      ·Do some tumbling(翻筋斗) if you have enough room to do it.

      ·Set up a scavenger hunt.

      ·Bat a balloon back and forth and try not to let it hit the floor.

      And here's one thing not to do: Try not to say, “I'm 10. There's nothing to do.” As you just found out, there's always something to do!
