report.
Lucy: I've got some terrible weather. Let's
start in Scotland. It's not good at all. We've got storms and heavy rain.
Presenter:
Lucy: Well, it's worse in Northern England.
There's heavy rain here too. And there are already floods
(洪水) in some parts.
And that means more floods.
Presenter: Oh, no.
Lucy: In Southern England, the weather is
very different. But that's bad news for gardeners.
The last rainy day was three weeks ago.
There's no water for trees and plants.
Presenter: What about Wales?
Lucy: It's windy in Wales today. In fact,
there's a tornado warning(龙卷风警报).
Presenter: A tornado?
Lucy: Yes, the tornado will move across the
country this evening. But there is some good news for Northern Ireland. That's
the best place today. It's 24 degrees and there aren't any storms, floods or
tornados.
Presenter: Well, thank you for the weather
report, Lucy!
