In the UK, bus journeys are very common. Buses are often convenient for the people who live or work in the city centre. Passengers can avoid(避免) heavy traffic and do not have to pay for the parking. However, taking the bus is just a necessary but boring part of life: they get on the bus, pay for it and sit down or find a place to stand when it is crowded. Everyone seems sad and bored.

    In Latin America, however, bus journeys can be wonderful. At the beginning, films are showed on the buses between cities for passengers to have fun during the journeys. Local buses do not show films, but drivers usually turn on the radio and it can be great for passengers to listen to songs and get relaxed.

    Even better than films and music are the sights and sounds on the buses. Local buses always go to parts of the town that passengers would not visit by themselves. There passengers can see shops that they have never heard about. And they can also see other cultures of the town from the windows of the buses.

    Besides, passengers' luggage(行李) is also interesting. It is common to see a happy dog's head getting out of somebody's bag or a lovely chicken "speaking cheerfully" under somebody's arm. Once on a bus in Peru, a farmer even tied a sheep to the top of the bus. It was quite surprising.

    In general, taking the bus in Latin America is really fun and unforgettable.

    Nine-year-old Lisa left school three years ago. She has to look after her family1her mother is in hospital. She has four2. The oldest is ten, and the smallest is four.     A friend of mine likes drawing horses. He draws the horses very (good). But he always begins at the tail. Now it is the Western rule to begin at the head of the horse. That is why I am (surprise). It strikes me that it cannot really make any (different) whether the artist begins at the head or the tail or the belly(肚子) or the foot of the horse if he really knows his business. And most great artists who really know their business do not (follow) other people's rules. They make their (owner) rules. Every one of them does his work his own way.

    Now the very same thing is true to literature(文学). And the question "How shall I begin?" only means that you want to begin at the head instead of (begin) at the tail or somewhere else. That is, you are not yet experienced(有经验的) enough (trust) your own power. When you become more experienced you will ask the question, and I think that you will often begin at the tail-that is to say, you will write the end the story before you think of the beginning.
