      Education plays an important part in modern life. However, in some poor areas, many children can't afford the expenses of schooling (付学费) and are forced (被迫) to leave school. At the same time, our country is not able to invest (投资) too much in it. Under this condition, the Project Hope is necessary to our country. Firstly, it will create conditions (创造条件) for the children to go back to school. Secondly, it can make more people educated. So it can lead to the improvement of people's standards (标准) of life.

　　In my opinion, the Project Hope is of great importance to our country. I hope that with its help more and more children can get the opportunity (机会) to be educated.

       Do you think stones (石头) can move by themselves? There are some famous moving stones in Death Valley, the US. Many of the stones are small but a few of them are very big. Some of the big stones are as big as a man. The biggest stone weighs about 350 kg. The stones only move at night. Nobody has ever seen them moving, but now scientists (科学家) know the answer to the question. The answer is the wind. When the wind comes from the west, the stones move to the east. When the wind is from the south, they always move to the north. But how can the wind move a very heavy stone?

        Death Valley is one of the hottest place in the world, but it can be very cold at night. Sometimes, there are even bad storms (暴风雨) at night. Rain falls, and the wind is strong and cold. The water on the ground turns into ice easily. Then the strong wind can move the stones along the ground. In the morning, the sun comes up and dries (使……变干) the ground. So people can find them move from one place to another in the daytime.

A lot of people like taking the subway. It is a kind of popular way and more convenient in our daily life. It has three advantages (优点). First, it's fast. The subway can run about 80 kilometres in an hour. It's much faster than riding a bike or taking a bus. Second, it's accurate. It can help you get somewhere on time. Don't worry about the weather. It can arrive on time even if it is raining or snowing. During rush hour (交通高峰期), there is a subway every five minutes. You can't wait too long. Finally, it is comfortable. It is very comfortable for passengers to take the subway. You can find place to sit or stand here and there. They don't feel cold in winter or hot in summer because of the air-conditioners (空调). It can carry many people. I think most of people all like it. You will have a good time to take the subway.
