   I go to a “Junior High School” near Portland, Maine in the USA. The school has about 1, 000 students between 11 and 15 years old. I go to school from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

   My school day begins in my “home class”. This is the room that my group uses most of the time. Here, my teacher checks that everybody is there.

   After that, I have three lessons. At about 11:00 a. m. I have a long break for lunch until about 12:00. There is a dining hall in my school. I buy my lunch there. The meals in my school are cheap. I have a hot meal every day at school. After the meal, there are lots of activities in the school. I like playing in the school band (乐队) at lunchtime. My lessons begin again at about 12:30.

    At noon students have lunch at school. They don't have a short sleep. They go back to classes after lunch until three o clock. Then they go home.

    Students usually play or watch TV before supper. They have supper at six in the evening. After supper they do their homework. Sometimes they play or talk with their parents.

    At weekends they often go with their parents to the church in the morning and have a big meal at one o clock in the afternoon.
