J. K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter books. Her(成功) made her become the richest woman in Britain, even richer than British Queen Elizabeth Ⅱ.

    J. K. Rowling was born on July 31, 1965, in England. She started to be a(狂热爱好者) of writing when she was 5 or 6 years old.

    At school Rowling loved literature and her schoolbag was always(满的) of storybooks. She studied(法语) at college and after graduation, she became a secretary. She later said she(事实上) was “the worst secretary ever”.

    When Rowling was 26 years old she moved to(南部的) Portugal to be an English teacher. During this period she began working on a(经典的) book about a wizard (男巫). In fact she finished writing the Harry Potter books when living(在国外).
