Christmas was coming. Mr Smith had no money to buy any presents for his children. He was quite(worry) about it.
"We have only a cock," said Mrs Smith one day. "You'd betterit to the town.(sell) it there and buy some cakes and sweets for our children."
"It's a good!" the man said. He caught the cock the next morning andit into a box. It was difficult for him(walk) because thick snow was here and there on the road. Two hours' journey was really very(tired), so he wanted to have a rest. He put the box onto the ground and sat down.
