    Travel Tips for Holidays Abroad Everyone loves holidays abroad. They give us the chance to see some sights, have some fun and relax. However, holidays aren't always a great experience. Follow these tips to make sure you enjoy your holiday.

    Please get everything ready. Every year, thousands of people miss flights because they are not ready, they arrive at the airport too late, or even go to the wrong airport!

    How much do you know about the place you are going to visit? Learning a little about the culture of a country will help you a lot. Learning a few words of another language can also help you make new friends.

    Try to keep the place that you visit clean. Don't throw rubbish here and there. You'd better use buses or trains instead of taxis when you arrive.

    You can help a local community a lot by staying in local hotels and eating in local restaurants. This means that your money will go to local people.

    You don't want to forget your holiday. Write a book about your holiday. You can show it to friends, or just use it to remember all the good times you had! And don't forget the new friends you made during your holiday. Then next time you go on holiday, you can visit them again.

B: I'm more outgoing than Lisa. I'm friendlier and I love sports. She is different from me. She can run more and jump higher than me.

A: Who is more hard-working?

B: She is not as hard-working as me. But she is smarter and always gets better grades.

A: Can you introduce(介绍) her to me? I want to be with her.

B: OK. I think you can become good friends.

    Tom and Mike were good friends. Sometimes they were kindeach other and sometimes they weren't. But all of their classmates said they like brothers.

    One day they went out for a walk together and they were very happy. At noon both of them  (start) to feel very tired and hungry. So they went into a restaurant  (have) lunch. The waiter came up to them and asked, "What can I do for you?"

    "Please bring us two apples  (one),"said Tom.

    When the waiter put two apples on the table, Mike took the  (big) one at once. Tom got angry. "You're not polite, Mike.  I don't you take the smaller one?" said Tom.

    "But I am right," said Mike with a smile. "If I let you  (take) first, which one will you choose?"

    "Of course I'll take  smaller one."

    "Yes," Mike said. "If you take the smaller one, the bigger one will still be; (me). Don't you think so?"

    "OH!" Tom was too angry to say anything.
