A lot of students are having all kinds of sports in the playground. A football game is going on right now 1  Class 3 and Class 4. We don't know which team will 2 .Look at those people over there! Some students of Class are practising the 3  jump. One of them is the best high jumper in the school. He practises hard every day. Many people think he will 4  the school record in the sports meeting next spring. Not far away from them, some girls are preparing for a race. They 5  have a 800-metre race soon. Now on the corner of the field, you can see another group of students. Their teacher is 6  them how to throw discus(铁饼).

    In schools, 7  students love sports now. Sports help people to keep 8  . They also help people to live happily. And after doing sports on the field, people will make good friends with each other, too.

    In the world today, all of the people need recreation. We cannot work all the time if we are going to keep healthy and enjoy life.

    Everyone has his own way of relaxing. Perhaps the most popular form is to take part in sports. There are team sports, such as basketball and football. There are also individual sports, such as swimming and running. Skating and mountain climbing are the most popular recreations for people who like outdoor sports.

    Not everyone who enjoys sports, likes to take part in them. Many people like watching them on TV or listening to them on the radio. So many people like some forms of indoor recreations, such as watching TV, singing and dancing.

    It doesn't matter whether we like indoor recreations or take part in outdoor sports. It is important for everyone to relax from time to time, and enjoy themselves.
