Dear peter,
I'm very excited (激动的) to receive your letter. I know you are happy to come to the new school. Now I can tell you about my school life in Toronto, Canada.
Every day, I go to school at 9:00 a.m. I don't like getting up at 8:00 in the morning! The school is not far from my home, so I always walk to school after eating breakfast.
At school we learn English, science, art and maths. We also need to learn French (法语), because Canada is not only an English-speaking country, but also a French-speaking one. My favourite class is PE and I am good at playing basketball. It's my favourite sport. I want to be a basketball the future.
School finishes at 3:30. I usually have a lot of home work so I have to spend (花费) much time on it.
We eat bread or potatoes at most meals. For dinner we have salad. That's my favourite! After dinner I can relax and do what I want to do.
