They can find ways to help astronauts stay in space for a long time in the future. That can help the astronauts a lot.

How do volunteers live here? One room is the living room. People work and sleep here. Every day, they get up at 6: 30 am and go to bed at 11: 00 pm. The other two rooms are greenhouses(温室).
