An unlucky day

Hi, I am Jack. Do you know? Today was really an unlucky day for me. I watched a football match last night, so I stayed up late. Then bad things came one after another! In the morning, I woke up late because my alarm clock stopped. I woke up at 8：10, but my first class began at 8：20. Oh, no! There were only ten minutes left before class. I ran to the bus stop, but I missed the bus. So I ran to school and I was late for school. Then I forgot my homework. My teacher was so angry. After school, I got home at 5：00p. m. But I lost my keys. I must wait for my mom.

Yuan Longping

Yuan Longping is a famous scientist. He is the father of the hybrid rice（杂交水稻）. In the old days, rice wasn't cheap. And there wasn't enough rice for people. Yuan Longping wanted to help the people. He studied and worked for a long time. At last he planted the hybrid rice. And people didn't go hungry any more.

As a scientist, Yuan Longping had many good habits, too. He liked exercising. And he was good at swimming. He also liked playing the violin. He could speak English well.

Yuan Longping did a lot for people and he also had healthy habits. He is an idol（偶像）in our life.
