I've got a book about festivals of the world. It's interesting. And I know something more about Christmas. Christmas is a special festival in many western countries. Before Christmas, people have got lots of things to do. They send cards to their family and friends, and put Christmas trees in their homes. They put presents under the trees. On Christmas Eve, they open their presents and say" Merry Christmas" to each other. They sing and dance, and have a big dinner together.

Jake was playing computer games.

Mum came in." Can you feed(喂) the hens (母鸡)?" she said." Here is the food." Jake put the food on the floor. He stayed at the computer.

"Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!" Flies(苍蝇) came in the window. They went down to the food. Mum came in." Look at all the flies!" she said." You have to feed the hens!"

"OK!" said Jake, but he didn't do that.

The hens got out of the hen house." Scratch! scratch! Scratch!" they went into the garden (花园) and they got some food to eat.

"Look at my garden!" Mum looked out the window," The hens are in my garden," she shouted." They have made a big mess (混乱)!"

Jake had to(不得不) put the hens in the hen house, and get the hens some food. He had to clean up the garden too. He was working all day.
