Today is Betty's eleventh birthday. Her mother, Mrs Black, makes a big cake for her. Many students from Betty's class come to Betty's house. They give Betty many small presents. There are cards, storybooks and a pencil-box.

    Betty cuts the cake into small pieces and gives them out. They are having a good time.

John: We will have a school trip this year. It's in April. We'll go to the Zhongshan Park. We'll take a walk there.

Chen Jie: Autumn is my favourite season. We'll have a school trip this October. I'm happy. Because we'll go to the Huang Mountain. We'll climb mountains and go boating.

Miss White: We'll have a school trip in San Ya. It's in July. We'll go swimming. I like my vacation.

   Hello, my name's John. I'm in Ren Min Primary school. I love winter best. I'll have a Thanksgiving Day in November and a Christmas party in December. I'm now in China. And then I'll have a Chinese New Year's Day in January. My birthday is in February, so after the New Year's party, I'll prepare (准备) for my birthday party.
