When Lucy was a little girl, she loved colourful pictures very much.

    Her mother often taught her to draw something on the paper. Then, when she was a little older, Lucy's mother gave her some pencils and a drawing book. She began drawing something by herself. When Lucy was 7 years old, her mother gave her a small board and some coloured pencils. She took Lucy to have art lessons in an art school. Lucy liked drawing very much and practised very often. She was good at drawing. When she was 13 years old, she won the gold medal in a big drawing competition（绘画比赛）for children.
