One day, a poor man took a bag of rice to a
town. The rice was on the back of his horse, but it fell down on his way to the
town. The rice was too heavy to lift and he didn't know what to do. He hoped
another farmer will come. After a while, a man went by with a horse. But he was
a rich (富有的) man living nearby. The rich man saw him and said to him, "Do
you need help?" The poor man nodded (点头) his head.
And the rich man helped the poor man lift the rice onto the horse's back. "Sir,
how can I repay (报答) you?" the poor man asked. "It's
easy, when you see anyone else in trouble, do the same for him." Then the
rich man smiled and left.
