    The Lion King1to name the years. The earliest to arrive (早到达的) will be the first. He says to the animals, "We will have a meeting2the morning of 12th January." Everyone wants to be the first.

    On 12th January, the ox (牛) gets up very early in the morning. On his way to the meeting, he meets the rat. "Mr Ox, I'm3. Can I sit on your back?" The rat says. "OK!" the ox answers.

    The ox runs and runs. He arrives at the meeting first. He's very tired and sits down. The rat jumps to the front (前面) of the ox. So the rat is the first. The ox is the the second.4the tiger comes. He is the third. The rabbit is the fourth; the dragon is the fifth; the snake is the sixth; the horse is the seventh; the sheep is the5; the monkey is the ninth; the rooster (公鸡) is the tenth; the6is the eleventh; the pig is the twelfth.

    Tom, Sue and John are good friends. They study in the same school. But they are not in the same class. Tom's birthday is on 21st February, next Sunday. Sue and John want to give him a big surprise (惊喜) on his birthday. They talk about it after school.

    Tom likes playing sport very much. He usually goes to the sports club on Sunday. So Sue and John can go to Tom's house and get ready for the party with Tom's parents on that day.

    On Sunday morning, they go to the supermarket to buy (买) some food, fruit and drinks. It is study afternoon now, Sue is making the cake. And John is making a model plane for Tom. Tom is very happy when he comes home.
