    Hello, I'm Mike. I will have a fun and busy holiday next month. I will go to Beijing by plane. On July 1st, I will climb the Great Wall. I will take many interesting photos there. On July 2nd, I will visit Beijing Museum; it's cool there. On July 8rd, I will go to the Nature Park, and I will eat lots of good food there. Beijing is a beautiful place, but I want to go to Shanghai next year. Do you want to go there, too?

    Earth Day is on April 22nd. It was started by an American Nelson. In 1970, about 20 million(百万) Americans celebrated the first Earth Day. Every day, we take important things from the earth, like trees, water, and oil. Our factories, cars, and garbage(垃圾) make the air, water, and land dirty. If we are not careful, we will have no trees, no clean water and air, and no food. Earth Day tells us to be kind to the earth. Use less water, plant more trees... The earth is ours, so we should help the earth every day, not just on Earth Day!

    The Yellow Mountain is one of the most famous mountains in China. It's in the south of Anhui. Every year many people go to visit it. It's not far from here. You can go there by bus, by train or by plane. When the sun rises in the morning, the sky looks very beautiful. It's really a nice place.

    Hello! My name is Mike. I am an American boy. I'm 12 years old. I study in Youyi School in Beijing. My home is near. I usually go to school on foot. Sometimes I go by bus. My father and my mother are teachers. They work in a middle school. It's very far. They go to work by underground. They work very hard. I love them. My grandparents are in the USA. We visit them by plane every year.

Seasons in Canada

    I love summer! In summer, the weather is usually very hot, and I can swim in the sea.

    Spring is beautiful, but in Canada it often rains. And it is hard to plant flowers in the rain.  I love my garden! It is so nice to watch the flowers grow.

    In autumn I can pick apples. They are so delicious in autumn. I also love to watch the leaves fall. That is why we can call autumn "fall".

    It usually snows in winter in Canada. Sometimes it snows here in Beijing, too. When it snows, I can ski.

    I love all the seasons. They are all beautiful and I can find many things to do.

Dear John,

    This Saturday will be my eleventh birthday. My parents will have a birthday party for me. It will be at my home. It will start at 2:00 p.m. this Saturday. My mum will cook some delicious food for us. We will play games together. Would you like to come?
