    Long long ago, there was a thief. One day, he went into a house and wanted to steal something. He saw a big bell (钟表) on the wall. It was gold and very beautiful. He wanted to take it away. But the bell was big and heavy. He couldn't get it. Then he had a good idea (主意). He wanted to make the bell into pieces (片).When he hit the bell, there was a loud sound. He didn't want the other people to hear the sound. So he tried to stop the sound. He plugged (堵塞) his ears and started to hit the bell again. Later, the police came and took the thief away.
