Little Peter is now in
Beijing with his parents. Little Peter doesn't know much Chinese, but he is
trying to learn and speak it. He often tries to speak Chinese to his Chinese
friends. Sometimes they don't understand him, because he can't speak Chinese
well.
It's Sunday morning. He
goes out. He is walking in the street. He is going to the zoo to see the
monkeys, but he doesn't know how to get there. He asks a Chinese boy. The boy
can't understand him. Then he takes out a pen and some paper. He draws a monkey
on it, and shows the picture to the boy. The boy smiles and then shows little
Peter the way to the zoo.
