    A crow is thirsty. He wants to drink some water. He finds a bottle, and there is a little water in it. But the neck of the bottle is too long; the crow can't get the water. The crow thinks over and over again, and then he has a good idea. He puts some small stones in the bottle, and the water rises up to the top. Now he can drink the water. What a clever crow!

    Mike is travelling around the country in his car. One evening he is driving along a road and looking for a small hotel. Then he sees an old man at the side of the road. He stops his car and says to the old man, “I want to go to the Sun Hotel. Do you know it?"

    "Yes," the old man says. "I'II show you the way." He gets into Mike's car, and they drive off. They drive for about twelve miles. When they come to a small house, the old man says, "Stop here." Mike stops and looks at the house. "But this isn't a hotel," he says to the old man. "No," the old man answers. "This is my house. And now I'll show you the way to the Sun Hotel. Turn around and go back nine miles. Then you'll see the hotel on the left."
